About: Balsam Fir has a rich, woody, refreshing scent much like that of fresh pine needles. It is traditionally used to support the respiratory system, healthy muscles and joints, and a calm mind.

Common Uses: Use Balsam Fir with a carrier oil to massage joints and muscles, or diffuse to promote the respiratory system and a refreshed mind.

Balsam Fir is an excellent decongestant. It's also antimicrobial, which makes it a great choice for those times when you need respiratory support and to rid your space of germs. It has anti-inflammatory properties that also make it a suitable choice for muscle aches. Use at a 1% dilution for any kind of topical application.

Maximum recommended dilution: 6%, or 38 drops per ounce of carrier oil.

For children under 5 avoid direct contact.

Children ages 5-13 should use a dilution below 2.5%, or 15 drops per ounce.
